The impact that the Tests scores, homework, and projects scores make on the final grade is based on their weights entered when creating them.

  • For more information on class weights, see the appropriate help tutorial in the "Class Grades" section.
  • Before you can enter the grades for tests, homework, and projects, you must first create them. They can be created in the class's weights page.

Add a New Test, Homework, or Project

Step 1: Select "Classes" from the main menu, then select the class from the appropriate year and semester.

Step 2: Select the "Class" menu, then "Weights".

Step 3: When you first set the weight for the test, homework, or project category, you will see an alert notification instructing you to add your first individual test, homework, or project.

  • Within each category, you can add one or more individual items, whose total also needs to add up to 100%.

Step 4: To add a test, select "Add" located under the tests section.

Step 5: From the pop-up message, select the date on which this test, homework, or project will take place.

  • The date dropdown contains all of the scheduled lesson dates for that semester.
  • You must choose a specific date. If this is a take-home assignment, you may want to choose the due date.

Step 6: Enter the desired name for the test, homework, or project.

Step 7: Enter the desired description of the test, homework, or project.

Step 8: Enter the desired weight of this individual test, homework, or project.

Step 9: Select "Create" to save your changes and create the test, homework, or project.
