How to change a track name

If you need to make a name change to tracks, or semesters, you can always go and rename them.

• Renaming them will affect all of the previous mentions of these tracks and semesters. This is a better option than creating new semesters and tracks, as it will keep your 'filters' and 'dropdowns' around the system more organized and tidy, and you won’t have to see the old names of the semesters and tracks.
• But sometimes you would want to keep the old names in the system, and create new names, and that’s ok too!
  
  

Follow these steps to change a track's name.

• Please note that the name will be changed for all of the years, retroactively, and not just moving forward.

Step 1: Select ‘Settings’ from the main menu

Step 2: Choose ‘Tracks’ from the settings menu

Step 3: Select ‘Edit’ on the track that you want to change

Step 4: Edit the name of the track to the desired new name

Step 5: Edit the shortname if necessary

Step 6: Select ‘Save’ to save your changes
