As a precautionary measure, deleting a class can only be done if no data is associated with the class.
You can delete a class from the class's settings menu:
Step 1: Select "Classes" from the main menu.
Step 2: Select the appropriate year and semester filters.
Step 3: Select the desired class to go into it.
Step 4: Select the "Settings" submenu.
Step 5: Select the "Action Menu".
Step 6: Select the "Delete" option, and confirm that you want to delete the class in the following pop-up messages.
If you get a message "There was an error with your request", that means that there is data already associated with the class, and for security reasons the class cannot be deleted until you remove that data. This includes:
- Attendance - if attendance was taken for some lessons, this means that the class actually took place. It is advisable in this case to keep the class and not delete it. You can instead delete the lessons that did not take place.
- For more information see the related article "How to delete multiple lessons".
- Tests, Homeworks and Projects - if the class has these items in the class's 'Weights' tab, you'll need to remove them first before you can delete the class.
